Dr. Brett Millar’s research focuses on the intersection of behavioral health, sleep, and HIV prevention, particularly among marginalized populations. His NIH-funded projects investigate the impact of sleep on cardiovascular health among men living with HIV, highlighting the importance of sleep in managing chronic health conditions.
Dr. Millar is also pioneering the development of app-based interventions to reduce substance use and improve health outcomes in sexual minority men. His work is widely recognized for its potential to enhance digital health interventions targeting health disparities.
